Lexus Australia is all clear for take-off, entering an exclusive partnership with the $100-million Melbourne Jet Base VIP-only private terminal.

Industry leaders, celebrities and dignitaries will be chauffeured to and from the door of their private-charter aircraft in a fleet of Lexus LS sedans, with both the 310kW twin-turbo V6 LS 500 and self-charging hybrid LS 500h available for guests to enjoy. As befitting the exclusive clientele, each Sports Luxury variant blends 22-way electrically adjustable rear seats with a best-in-class 48-degree backrest tilt and Shiatsu massage function.

Meanwhile the hushed refinement of a seven-seat RX L midsize luxury SUV will bring any flight to a relaxed close for the aircraft pilots and crew.

Owned by prominent Australian businessman Paul Little AO, Melbourne Jet Base is a new state-of-the-art facility complete with the ease and efficiency of in-house customs, immigration and security.

Mr Little said the 15,000 sq.m. terminal and 60,000 sq.m. hangar and apron were designed with the style and craftsmanship reflective of the exclusivity of private air travel and the expectations of its guests.

“Our focus with Melbourne Jet Base is on premium design and warm hospitality. It is crucial that we offer guests a continuation of this experience, and Lexus vehicles embody these virtues,” Mr Little said.
